Conveyors & Feed Systems

Conveyors and feed systems are used to move parts as either an in-feed or out-feed setup.

In-feed meaning we are feeding a robotic cell, a machine tool, or some other automated device with parts for consumption.

Out-feed meaning we are taking a part out of cell. This could be for an operator to retrieve, it could be for stacking purposes, or it could be to feed another operation.

How It Works

Conveyor systems can be motorized or gravity fed. With a motorized conveyor, we can either use robot vision to pick the part directly from the end of the conveyor or add indexing capability to the conveyor, where it will automatically place the parts.

Conveyors can also be integrated with gravity feeders, paddles, and gates to locate the parts.
